What’s the difference between TestingTime and a regular market research agency?
We focus exclusively on participant recruitment for quantitative and quantitative studies. Market research agencies typically offer recruitment as an incidental service. We consider recruitment a core service, and have perfected it as such. Our service is processed via a modern online portal.
How much does it cost?
That depends on the number of participants, the criteria (incidence rate), duration and delivery schedule. Let’s say you require 100 participants with an average profile (2 standard criteria, 1 special criterion) for a 10-minute online survey. That would come to CHF 19 per person (incl. incentives and VAT). We don’t charge any set-up fees. Our transparent price calculator will show you the specific costs.
I’ve always found my participants myself. Why should I switch to using this service?
There’s a good chance that you spent more time on sourcing your participants, than on actually creating the survey. It often proves difficult to find suitable participants outside of your professional and private networks. With our help, you can make more efficient use of your time, than looking for suitable participants yourself.
Which online survey tool do you support?
All of them! The only prerequisite is that your online survey is accessible via a public link (URL). We have delivered answers to surveys via Surveymonkey, TreeJack, Google Forms and TypeForm. We can measure participation with our own tool, or via a redirect link provided by us.
How do you acquire your panel?
We currently have more than 150,000 qualitative participants in our database. These cover a representative range of individuals - people from all age groups, very diverse backgrounds, and with many different interests. These participants are acquired through various channels - including online, offline and telephone acquisition. Our panel focusses on the GAS region, the German-speaking part of Europe.
How do you ensure fictitious participants don’t get into your panel?
Our participants are carefully selected through electronic screening. Each participant is limited to one survey, focus group, user test or interview per month. In addition, all participants of any online survey are disclosed in our line-up with their personal details.
Is your service limited to Switzerland?
No! While we’re currently focussing our efforts on a German-speaking panel in Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), we also provide participants across the world on request.
Who pays the amount for the participants?
We take care of that for you! You don’t incur any additional costs. Moreover, we never charge you for invalid participations.
Do you also provide this service for other study approaches?
We provide participants for quantitative and qualitative studies. We typically also recruit participants for usability tests, focus groups, workshops and interviews.
